Dr. Rashid was born and raised in Bangladesh, a South Asian country marked by lush greenery and crisscrossing rivers. She completed her medical training there and obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. She worked in the United Arab Emirates and received her pediatric and neonatology training there. She eventually immigrated to Canada and pursued her pediatric residency and neonatology fellowship at the University of Manitoba. Dr Rashid is an attending neonatologist at South Health Campus in addition to her clinical work at Kaleidoscope Pediatrics. She is involved in teaching medical students and residents. She loves to travel, hike and read books at leisure.
